Achieves staffing objectives by actively recruiting and evaluating job candidates and matching candidates with jobs and clients.
o Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with managers to discuss needs
o Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites
o Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
o Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements and utilizing recruiting sources.
o Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
o Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements with the applicants interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
