Technical Support Representative


Job Description:
Answer filter application questions about installation, change intervals, where to purchase, etc. from branded and private brand customers.
Conduct research on the web for new applications that are not currently listed in our database.
Respond to product applications inquiries from consumers, customer service, sales, outside sales force, aftermarket vehicle professionals.
Provide interchange information on competitor part numbers to our part numbers.
Update ICAT catalog system with newly researched interchange and application information. Use the Hotline for application assistance and competitor part number interchanges. Maintain knowledge of all private brand customers as well as Purolator brand customers.
Record and document all inquiries to be analyzed by marketing and engineering
Redirect inquiries to proper constituencies for response; marketing, engineering, sales, application data management

Job Requirements:
1.High School Diploma or equivalent 2. Two years customer service or call center experience; preferably in the auto industry 3. General Automotive knowledge 4. Strong written and oral communication skills 5. Good customer service skills 6. Good PC skills: Microsoft Office software (i.e., Word, Excel and Access) 7.Ability to work occasional weekends.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
