Position Information:
The Surgical Technologist OR is an allied health professional who is an integral part of the team of medical practitioners providing surgical care to patient populations ranging from infancy to geriatrics. Functions under the supervision of a surgeon or registered nurse to ensure that the operating room environment is safe that equipment functions properly and that the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety. Utilizes expertise in the theory and application of sterile and aseptic technique that combines the knowledge of human anatomy surgical procedures and implementation of tools and technologies to facilitate a physician's performance of invasive therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required - And Graduate Surgical Technology Required - Or Military - Surgical Technology Required
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Certified Surgical Technologist Required

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
