Role purpose Controls or operates machinery or equipment to assist with manufacturing, assembly, and other steps along a production line.
Key responsibilities Operating Machine or Equipment Operate semi-complex equipment and machines, prioritizing routine tasks to improve efficiency and adjusting multiple related variables to resolve production problems.
Operations Management Carry out operational tasks by following established processes.
This will involve adjusting multiple settings or parameters to meet performance standards.
Equipment Changeover Carry out changeover of one or more equipment, following detailed instructions and working under close supervision to complete the allocated tasks.
Equipment Total Productive Maintenance Carry out TPM checks and activities, following detailed instructions and working under close supervision to complete the allocated tasks.
Quality Carry out relatively simple testing and quality assurance tasks.
Health, Safety and Environment Follow a range of mandatory procedures and methods of work (including use of personal protection equipment where relevant) to safeguard the environment and the wellbeing of oneself and others.
