DUTIES/
Responsibilities:
This position is in our Women's Infants and Children (WIC) Program.
There is a substantial amount of client interaction in this position on a daily basis.
The employee will be responsible for scheduling appointments, issuing food benefits, screening for WIC eligibility and completing WIC applications.
This position also functions as the WIC Vendor Coordinator; and is responsible for Lee County Vendor food delivery system including grocery store monitoring.
Duties also include annually training of the grocery store managers and insure required forms and store applications are completed accurately for Vendor Agreement contracts.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Graduation from high school and demonstrated possession of knowledge, skills and abilities gained through at least two years of office assistant/secretarial experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
