Summary:
As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will be seeing, treating, and providing quality care to the patients of our community ranging from infancy to geriatric.
These patients may suffer from croup, asthma, pneumonia, COPD, and respiratory failure requiring mechanical ventilation.
You may also encounter patients with diabetic ketoacidosis, and kidney disease requiring Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT).
Septic patients are not uncommon in the ICU as well.
We do it all!! Required Education Graduation from a Nursing Education program Required Licensure/Certification NC or Multi-state RN licensure required BLS and ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire Other:
1 year of experience in a health care setting is preferred Experience in a Critical Care, ED, or Progressive Care Unit/ Step Down Unit is preferred Experience with ventilators, critical drips, chest tubes, telemetry is preferred CCRN is preferred, or must be accomplished 1 year after orientation is completed Equal opportunity and affirmative action employers and are looking for diversity in candidates for employment:
