Job Overview:
As a Vehicle Wholesale/Inventory Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the dealership's wholesale and inventory management processes.
You will work closely with the Wholesale Manager and Inventory team to ensure efficient operations, accurate record-keeping, and optimal vehicle availability.
Responsibilities:
Wholesale Coordination:
Collaborate with the Wholesale Manager to coordinate wholesale transactions, including pricing, negotiations, and documentation.
Maintain effective communication with wholesale buyers, ensuring timely updates and responses to inquiries.
Facilitate vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Inventory Management:
Assist in maintaining accurate records of vehicle inventory, including vehicle details, pricing, and availability.
Coordinate with the Inventory Manager to monitor and update the online inventory database.
Conduct regular physical inventory checks and reconcile any discrepancies.
Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare and maintain documentation related to wholesale transactions, including contracts, invoices, and titles.
Generate reports on inventory status, sales performance, and other relevant metrics as required.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for vehicle transactions.
Collaboration:
Work closely with sales, finance, and service departments to facilitate seamless communication and coordination.
Assist in organizing and participating in regular team meetings to discuss inventory-related updates and strategies.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant certifications are a plus.
Previous experience in automotive wholesale, inventory management, or a related field is preferred.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of automotive industry practices and market trends.
