Employees will perform a variety of duties in the cleaning of all County-owned parks and County-owned facilities.
Essential functions include:
sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, cleaning restroom areas and replenishing supplies, cleaning up spills (including body fluids), cleaning windows, walls, woodwork, light fixtures and furniture, and emptying trash receptacles and keeping them clean.
Duties may also include physically strenuous activities such as moving furniture.
Working outside in extreme heat and cold conditions.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND
Experience:
Any combination of experience and training which provides knowledge of cleaning procedures and materials, the ability to follow instructions and the ability to perform light to medium physical work.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Valid driver's license in the State of North Carolina.
This position requires working weekends.
