Must obtain ASQ Certified Quality Improvement Associate certification within 2 year
Must attend local off site training for classes not offered by Moen
Read and interpret moderate to complex part drawings
Perform Quality system and process audits, document findings and report
Perform dimensional analysis on component parts and or assemblies.
Perform and evaluate Process Capability/Process data studies using Minitab
Develop data collection methodology with QE
Use precision measurement devices to perform dimensional inspection on components.
Perform and evaluate Measurement System uncertainty
Utilize SAP to create inspection lots, locate, block, release and move product as needed.
Utilize SAP document writer for label PPAP, Develop label PPAP trackers
Develop simple functional Go/NO go gaging and gage layouts
Perform Process Parameters audits against established standards, setup sheets, control plans, PM schedules etc.
Create and update quality documentation as needed within PPAP and ECR release.
Make decisions on product quality and disposition without undue influence from interested parties
Perform Document Control duties as needed
Perform product audits as needed utilizing SAP 04,08 criteria
Develop 04 inspection plans and gaging as needed
Review gaging criteria on new product and develop appropriate gaging methods with QE
Provide training on cosmetics, gauging, standard work, and other quality related topics
Perform material review and analysis on customer return material as needed
Generate area scrap reports and track area scrap metrics and reports utilizing various programs such as Business Objects, Qlikview, and SAP
Collect and analyze First Pass Yield data
Work with production, engineers, quality team and Moen management to resolve quality issues.
Manage complete testing , training and certification process of production inspectors
Travel to other Moen facilities as needed for resolution of customer quality issues.
Responsible for meeting the defined pace of work; make product dispositions within 24hrs, respond to quality issues promptly, communicate daily on quality issues, complete assignment on time
Responsible for a neat and orderly work area.
Responsible for observing and practicing the Moen operating Philosophies.
May be required to work in other departments and other job classifications
Other duties as assigned by coach.

High school graduate or GED.
Attention to detail
Passing score on the Reading, math, blue print reading and measurement assessments
Ability to use measuring instruments and gauges accurately
Ability to read and understand procedures, work instructions, Engineering drawings, and other process documentation.
Must obtain cosmetic certification within 90 days of starting
Skilled in Microsoft Offices -Excel, Word, Powerpoint, passing criteria for skills assessment required
Proficient in SAP transactions, email, etc.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
Must be able to work with little direction and be self-motivated.
Must work well within a team environment to problem solve and troubleshoot.
Ability to prioritize work, lead improvement initiatives and problem resolution
Must have a customer focused attitude when services are requested.
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
The minimum ability to lift 45 pounds
No disciplinary write-ups in the last 12 months
Have less than two (2) incidents under the attendance policy
Demonstrated positive work history through performance reviews.
Minitab experience is a plus
Business Objects and Qlikview software experience is a plus
